Rev. Dr. Joan Planellas Barnosell

Born in Girona in 1955, Professor Planelles is a priest of the Diocese of Gerona, where he was ordained in 1982. Doctor of Theology of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (2004). Professor of Systematic Theology of the Theological Faculty of Catalonia, where he has also been Vice Dean since 2010. Director of the Catalan Journal of Theology since 2008. Lecturer in “The Mystery of God” and Ecclesiology. Principal publications: “The Motherhood of the Church.
